WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 23

MONDAY (9/23)
  • Morning Announcements
  • NWEA Science testing will occur this week in 6th, 7th & 8th grade. Testing will take place during students’ regularly scheduled class periods and use their TCAPS-issued Chromebooks. We are asking students to finish the NWEA Science test in 3 school days.

TUESDAY (9/24)

  • Bus Evacuation Drill at 2:27 pm 
  • PLC #1 
    • Please remember to bing an instructional idea or wonder question around academic conversations and / or reading strategies

  • Morning Announcements
  • NWEA Math testing will occur this week in 6th, 7th & 8th grade. Testing will take place during students’ regularly scheduled class periods and use their TCAPS-issued Chromebooks. We are asking students to finish the NWEA Math test in 3 school days.
  • 6th Grade PBIS Assembly during Advisory

TUESDAY (9/17)

  • Optional Staff  Evaluation Meeting after school in the LMC.  The evaluation meeting will cover the information found in this presentation. You may plan to bypass the meeting if you feel that you understand and can act on the information contained in the presentation.

WEDNESDAY (9/18)

  • 7th grade Academic Awards will be held in the Big Gym during Advisory

WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 9

MONDAY (9/9)
  • Morning Announcements
  • NWEA Reading testing will occur this week in 6th, 7th & 8th grade. Testing will take place during students’ regularly scheduled class periods and use their TCAPS-issued Chromebooks. We are asking students to finish the NWEA Reading test in 3 school days.

TUESDAY (9/10)

  • Staff Meeting after school in the LMC.  We will focus on instructional practices at EMS and help prepare for our work at PLC #1 on Tuesday, September 24.

WEDNESDAY (9/11)

  • Deputy Makenzie Kreiner from East Bay Township will be presenting to each grade level in the cafe. This lesson will cover School Safety and the role of a Police Officer. The schedule for Wednesday is:

    • 6th grade - 1:10 - 1:35
    • 7th grade - 1:40 - 2:05
    • 8th grade - 2:10 - 2:35
    An all school page will be made to release students to the cafe.
